Sorry to see you leave the title but I can’t imagine what your workload is like. I’m glad you’re sticking with Invincible. What you and Kirkman have done with the title is truly excellent and rare these days to see an artist so committed to his work. Best of luck Ryan!

BTW- I really hope you’re considering coming to C2E2, Chicago needs to see Wya again!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I was loving it. I don’t know how you did it with Invincible but the Haunt style was killer. It will be missed. Thanks for 5 AMAZING issues.

Probably the main reason I picked up haunt in the first place was becauseyou were doing pencils but that doesn’t mean I will drop the title but I and persumably majority of your fanbase will support any thing you do! Keep up the great work on everything!

Hi Ryab! I know The Haunt was a very good comics were you had the oportunity to show us “your dark side of drawing”. But I think you make the right decision. It’s very hard to do one comics. Two it’s hardest. But for me the top reason it’s your sanity. Do a job we love it’s good but this job can’t be pass before your life. Good luck for the other project see you for the next episode of Invincible and next Sketchbook!

  13. I echo everyone else’s thoughts –”sad to see you leave, but glad you’re on Invincible”. That’s a hell of a workload (and an awesome accomplishment) to be doing two monthly books simultaneously . I can count the number of guys who can handle just ONE book a month on one hand–and most of them aren’t doing anywhere near the quality of work you are. Huge props Ryan.

That book is a TON of fun and I REALLY hate seeing you go, but I completely understand.

At least you didn’t leave in the middle of a story arc. Thanx for that, man!

Still, how cool is it that Capullo is back on a monthly!?!?

Love your work. Would like to get a commission some day!!

    (I have a blank Image United cover…)

    ;)

    Best,

    Eric

This is great news! I was concerned that if push came to shove you’d leave Invincible for Haunt, but thank GOD you didn’t! Apologies to Haunt fans (as I consider myself one also), but Invincible simply wouldn’t be the same title without your art, Ryan. You’ve literally defined the feel and desirability of that book, and made it a ‘must have’ each month for this reader. Glad you are staying put!
