Here’s the finished piece. kinda nasty. He’s leaking mustard, along with a few other colors. ick.

The Invincible Dead Part 2

When I do colored work I always throw on the color in the pencil stage, then ink over top of that. Mainly so I don’t have to wait for the inks to dry, and sometimes even when the inks have dried the ink can run. And it’s kind of fun doing it that way. Go on kids, try this at home. heh.  I add more color after the ink is applied also. I’m still trying to get a feel for Copic markers, I’m not that good at them yet, I feel I add TOO much and it comes out muddy. But hey, I’m working on  it. I’ll post the finished pic on Monday. The Invincible Dead Part 1

I’m going to post this zombie Invincible here in 3 parts, one part each day for……uh…..three days. heh. I sketched it all with blue pencil first, just getting a feel for the figure, then added more detail with a 2b pencil. The next stage I go straight to inks and colors. I’ll post that up tomorrow. Yeah. I apologize for this one. I’m coming up with concepts for comics that will actually make a reader dumber by reading it. Basically I’m just playing with my pens.
