Viltrumite Mark VS Spawn
This was a request from Baltimore, remember in issue 60 with the alternate dimension Invincibles? Well this particular one said he killed Spawn in his own dimension, so the sketch buyer asked for this scene.

Haunt commissions from BCC. Pencil, ink, white acrylic ink, copics, sharpie poster paint splatter.
I hope those of you that grabbed HAUNT enjoyed it! I’m having a good time penciling this stuff and Greg, Todd, and I are hitting a stride I think. That first issue was mostly experimentation, we’re starting to get a feel for the way we do things so I think issue 2 looks even better.

Had tons of fun with this Baltimore Comicon commission. The commissions I did at home I experimented much more on and spent a little too much time on them but it was crazy fun. I loved the watercolor effects here, the temperature on spidey was a welcome accident. The dark red fading out to lighter red gives it a little bit of depth, I thought that was so cool and it’s something I can’t do with markers. So yeah, I’m definitely gonna play around with watercolors a lot more soon.

Fans love their beat-up invincible sketches, and of course I love drawing them! This is one I did at home for someone but was never picked up at the Baltimore con, gonna have to sell this later on. The ones I do at home I seem to experiment on more, this one I used watercolors and watercolor paper, pencil and ink, and Sharpie white poster paint.

Man that was one fun con. I might need to make this one a priority to go every year. I had such a good time and I love Baltimore. Inner harbor is the best and ya can’t beat them Crabcakes. Did as many commissions as I could, which wasn’t that many, sorry to those that didn’t get one. Hit me up at a later con and I’ll do my best to get you one. I heard from quite a few people that watch my blog, and they all said the same thing. UPDATE MORE OFTEN PLEASE! Guh, I know. Sorry everybody! How about this, starting now I’ll post all my commissions once a day until I’m out. And if I did one for you PLEASE send me a scan of it so I can keep updating this blog.
Oh, thanks to all that grabbed Haunt #1 on Wednesday! Hope you liked it and hope you stick around. I think issue 2 just gets stronger. Greg, Todd, and I are getting into a groove with this art trifecta we got going. Anyway, thanks to all for making that thing such a success.
On with commissions! First up we got Eve VS Conquest again!
